In the last week of Jesus’ ministry, everything is at stake: his reputation, his friends, and even his life. In this study, we will look at the events of “Holy Week” as recounted in the gospels, explore questions of history and meaning, and reflect on what it means to follow Jesus on this risky path. Our primary resource will be Entering the Passion of Jesus, by Jewish scholar Amy-Jill Levine.
